Last Airlift

Posted on

I love to read and I think it a good way to relax. I usually read for 30 minutes before going to bed each night. My local library is a good friend of mine providing hours of awesome reading. The last book I got was called “Last Airlift: A Vietnam Orphan’s Rescue from War”  by Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch. It was published by the Pajama Press (pajamapress.ca). This book count 100 pages.

In this book you follow Truyet a war orphan from the time of her orphanage until she flies to Canada to be adopted. I was touched, I smiled and I teared. This is a true story as told by the real Truyet to the author. It’s a Canadian book destined to a young audience but who said adults can’t read youth books? Read it it worth it!
